Célian Chevereau

For Chef Pierre Sang’s first book, we were commissioned to design a layout that reflects his culinary world, blending Korean influences with French expertise, under the artistic direction of Pierre-Yann Lallaizon.
The choice of typeface plays a key role in this visual identity: the headings use a bold, condensed typeface, subtly evoking the aesthetic of Korean characters whilst asserting a strong, contemporary presence. In contrast, the body text uses a more understated and legible typeface, ensuring a balance between visual impact and readability. This layout aims to capture the chef’s personality: a bold cuisine, where every detail matters.
Unfortunately, the project did not go ahead.
